"Homelessness" | Connected Community Forum

January 22, 2019 | Blue Hill, ME

Community Compass hosted Tracey Hair of H.O.M.E. to discuss homelessness for the first in our series of Connected Community Forums.

With a packed room of engaged community members, Tracey led a discussion on the extent, types, causes, and solutions to homelessness in Hancock County and the state. A robust question and answer period showed how attendees are eager to leverage their strengths and networks to address homelessness in our region.

Many of those in attendance are members of Community Compass’s “Community Advisory Board,” which consists of 20 regional services, educational, and church groups that we have brought together to increase community awareness, engagement, and collaboration in working together to break the cycle of poverty.

Our next Connected Community Forum will be held on Tuesday March 26th at First Congregational Church of Blue Hill, UUC (22 Tenney Hill, Blue Hill, Maine) from 4-6 pm. Join us!
