Meet our Team

Executive Director

Scott Hamann joined Community Compass in 2018. Previously, he was a data analyst and program manager at Good Shepherd Food Bank, served three terms in the Maine legislature, and was appointed twice to the Health & Human Services Committee where he led on public assistance policy. He was also twice appointed to the National Conference of State Legislatures “Hunger Partnership” where he collaborated with food insecurity experts and policymakers around the country to advocate for solutions to hunger in America. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern Maine, and has training with Dr. Donna Beegle’s Poverty Institute. MORE
