Neighborhood Navigators are at the core of our organizational work. They are individuals who know generational poverty and understand best how to reach people who are trapped in it, and what types of work empower, engage, and break the cycle.
parents are leaders
PALs creates connections for parents through organized infant play/parent support groups, providing a positive social outlet with parenting tips and coping techniques. Infant home visits include providing a list of commonly used resources for new parents. This innovative program is available to everyone and addresses early childhood developmental needs while empowering parents at the same time.
Community Resource Guide
Healthy Peninsula's Community Resource Guide is a searchable database of resources available in Hancock County. The Guide is hosted by Blue Hill Memorial Hospital.
